The Grand Brighton

The Grand Brighton Hotel entrusted Space Group with the transformation of their main bar, restaurant, and orangery.

Our objective was to deliver a contemporary refurbishment that preserved the original features, such as the 155-year-old marble columns. The restaurant’s design was inspired by culture, heritage, and travel, while emphasizing the use of sustainable local produce.

This grand project culminated in a spectacular opening event, featuring celebrities, music, and plenty of celebration. Space Group’s design, interiors, furniture, and manufacturing teams collaborated seamlessly to bring the Grand Brighton Hotel’s vision to life. Our design team created visualizations and walk-through animations to showcase the new interior scheme. The dark cyan walls and ceilings, complemented by the freshly sanded and stained floors, provided a vibrant backdrop for the updated decor.

We specified new and upholstered furniture to harmonize with the interior scheme, incorporating deep button-back banquette seating to enhance the hotel’s luxurious ambiance. Our manufacturing team developed design specifications, supplied, and installed the bespoke central island bar, complete with a striking tiered feature display. The revamped bar now showcases live theatre cooking, fostering a captivating interactive atmosphere for guests.
