For this project, Space Group were appointed by a prominent contract catering client, our initial challenge was to conceptualise and install a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, tailored to meet the diverse culinary needs of both staff and visitors at the site.

A focal point of this project was to achieve increased energy efficiency.  This was accomplished through the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as high-speed ovens, induction cooking equipment, and advanced fryers equipped with innovative oil filtration systems. Notably, we triumphed in seamlessly integrating this functionality within the constraints of working around the existing drainage infrastructure.

As the project evolved, our role expanded to encompass the comprehensive redesign and transformation of the restaurant’s front-of-house area. Our mission was to breathe new life into this space, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. This endeavour included the creation of custom designed furniture, adaptable counters, informal meeting booths and flexible meeting spaces.

The success of our interior design scheme paved the way for Space Group to be invited to submit a proposal for the revitalisation of the reception area. The positive outcomes of this project have led us to working on exciting new opportunities, where we continue to innovate and elevate our work in various ventures.
