The Tong Garden Centre required a restaurant design capable of accommodating large numbers of customers, particularly during its very busy lunchtimes, while offering both self-service and served hot food. The focus was on ensuring efficiency and optimising customer flow through the new restaurant layout.

The final design included two large servery counters. The first is a large U-shaped counter featuring a deli section that serves coffee, cakes, and cold drinks. This counter also incorporates a small dishwashing room located at the rear of the ‘U’. The second counter is an inline hot food counter, beautifully finished in brushed aluminium.

This thoughtful design not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the restaurant but also significantly improves operational efficiency and customer experience, making the Tong Garden Centre a delightful dining destination.
