Originally founded in 1841, with a rich academic heritage, the College building is steeped in history and the design had to compliment this, working within the buildings constraints. Space pulled together it’s design, equipment and manufacturing teams within the group to complete this project.

From bespoke counter designs and specialist equipment procurement, to the manufacturing of bespoke fabrication. It was a real team effort! Catering for day and boarding students, alongside staff, the servery areas had to cater for 800-900 students during a lunch service, as well as breakfast and evening meals for around 400 boarders, 7days a week. The counters were finished with wooden fronts, curved to each corner and completed with a stone countertop. The panel details were designed with tradition in mind, but painted in a monochrome palette to give this classic design a modern twist. It definitely won’t go out of fashion.
