Summer 2023 Charity Events
“A team of 8 warriors from Space Group took on the challenge of the Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research at the Cheltenham Racecourse.
With each person having their own special reason/person spurring them on and despite it being blisteringly hot on the day, they all completed the course.
So far the team have raised over £1,805 in sponsorship for this well deserving cause which is a fantastic achievement.”
“As part of volunteering and ongoing support for charities and local causes, Space selected the annual “Macmillan Coffee Morning” event. The Coffee Morning itself was held on Friday 29th September 2023.
To support this and after bearing in mind hybrid working, (with people flitting in and out of the office) Space chose to host a “Munch for Macmillan” week. Snacks were made available to purchase and cakes/ home bakes were also supplied as a contribution to this very well deserving cause.
Over the week Space staff raised £175.50 so far. A huge thank you to everyone who munched away and/or brought some home bakes in for us to enjoy. Bake off here we come! “
